Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation Department’s Ocean Rescue Division is hosting the Ocean Mile Swim race on Saturday, July 11, 8:00 a.m. sharp at Carlin Park. Male and female swimmers from all over the state of Florida will be competing for awards in 13 age groups. The race will be guarded by Palm Beach County’s award winning Ocean Lifeguards.
Members of the United States Lifesaving Association Palm Beach County Chapter will be selling commemorative t-shirts for $10 each on race day. Proceeds from the t-shirt sale will help offset travel costs for competing team members traveling to the USLA Regional and National Championships in July and August.
Race day registration is $15 and will be available at Carlin Park from 7:00-7:30 a.m.
Carlin Park is operated by the Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation Department and is located at 400 South S.R. A1A, in Jupiter.
