2008-2009 No Child Left Behind (NCLB) School Public Accountability Reports (SPAR)
Now Available for Parent and Public Viewing
The No Child Left Behind (NCLB) School Public Accountability Report (SPAR) for each Palm Beach County school is now available online for parents and the public. The NCLB SPAR reports can be found on the Florida Department of Education (FDOE) website (http://doeweb-prd.doe.state.fl.us/eds/nclbspar/index.cfm).
The NCLB SPAR is developed in collaboration with the FDOE and contains a wide range of school data that can assist parents and communities in making appropriate decisions about a child's education and school. The main purpose of this report is to assist the school advisory council at each school in identifying areas of need and in setting goals for improvement.
Parents will receive notification of the report's availability on or before October 23, 2009. A copy of this press release can also be found in the "Latest District News" section of the district webpage (www.palmbeach.k12.fl.us).
For questions concerning the NCLB SPAR data, please contact Dr. Andrew Binns, Director, FTE and Student Reporting, at (561) 434-8542. Questions concerning teacher certification data should be directed to Cherrie Hires, Certification Manager, at (561) 434-8151.
For additional information, contact Denise Doyle, Director, Department of School Improvement, at (561) 434-8848
